Configuring and implementing your sales strategy into Open Leads is the key to success with this application. To help you with this process, Open Leads offers options such as custom setup and training packages designed to offer your company complete flexibility.

For the "do-it-yourselfers," our custom templates provide you with a well-designed account setup for specific needs—as well as a substantive basis to expand and develop your account. You may select a template when you sign up your account. Current templates include:

  • Default. A blank account for you to customize from the ground up.
  • Generic Sales (Basic). A simple sales template—good for any sales team as is, but with a little customization can be adapted to any business.
  • Generic Sales (Advanced). Designed for advanced users needing complex sales process management. Includes advanced workflows and service request functionalities.
  • Real Estate. Foundational account designed for Home and Property sales management.

If you prefer a turn-key process, custom setup is available. Setup fees include an in-depth review of your sales process and a custom-designed setup, including fields, forms, workflows, types, users, and message library.

Training, Setup and Consultation Rates

  • Custom Account Setup: $500 and up
  • Web-Based Training (groups up to 15): $75 for the first 1/2 hour, $25 per additional half-hour.
  • Setup Consultation: $50 per hour, one hour minimum.
 

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the 10-day trial work?
Sign up and try Open Leads for 10 days. Your card will not be charged until the trial period is over, at which point it will be charged for the first month of service. If you cancel within the first 10 days of your account, you won't be charged for anything. (The only reason we ask for credit card information up front is to verify you are a real person - even though Open Leads is free to try.)

Why can’t I send out 10,000 mass emails during my trial period?
Believe it or not, folks have been know to try to use Open Leads in less than above-board ways. We limit your mass emails to 100 during your trial period - enough to test out the process. Once you convert to a paid account we will raise your limit to 10,000 per month.

Why are there separate charges for the master account and for extra users?
Most similar applications offer several differently-priced plans, based either upon the number of users or the level of functionality. Open Leads offers the same functionality to all users, so you never have to wonder if you're getting the full version. We also decided to give our clients the greatest amount of flexibility in adding or deleting users from their accounts, so the cost of the service is based on the number of users, rather than on a fixed plan. You never have to upgrade or downgrade to a different plan...simply add or delete users as you need to, and your monthly billing is adjusted automatically. (This also means you're never paying for capacity that you're not using.)

What types of payment do you accept?
At this time we accept only online payment through credit card: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express.

Will I be committed to a long-term contract with Open Leads?
No. Open Leads is a strictly month-to-month system, so you can cancel at any time.

What if I want to add users or even cancel my account? How will that affect my billing?
Because we bill month-to-month you can add or remove users as needed. Your billing will automatically change for the next billing cycle. Of course, you may cancel your account at any time without penalty, other than being charged for the current month of usage. If for some reason you want to cancel, you will continue to be able to use it at its former level until the end of the period for which you have already paid.

What if I want to add extra users in the middle of a billing period?
Well, there you have us over a barrel. Since we don't bill partial months—and since nobody wants to wait weeks in order to expand their sales capability—the only way for us to handle this situation is to add the users free of charge for the rest of that billing period. (But don't get the idea of deleting them before the end of the billing period and then adding them again later...we're onto that.)

Do you pro-rate your fee if I sign up half-way through the month?
Your billing cycle will begin on the day your credit card is charged, rather than on the first of the month, so there is no need to pro-rate charges.

Do you offer refunds if I cancel before the current month is over?
No. Billing is strictly by monthly units, so we neither pro-rate nor refund.

Are there any limits to the number of leads I can work with Open Leads?
No. However, having more than 50,000 leads results in the application restricting certain functions, such as the type and extent of searches (this is so the application maintains our performance benchmarks). Plus, Open Leads is designed to be used as a serious sales and marketing application for small- to mid-sized businesses—so if you're looking for a program to mass email millions of unqualified leads, Open Leads is not for you...and quite frankly, such use violates our terms of use.

Is my information in Open Leads secure?
Yes. Open Leads conforms to current security standards. Our server cluster is hosted at Rackspace, a leader in high-end hosting. Your data is stored on multiple disks and backed up daily to another geographical region for added redundancy. We take our responsibility for your data very seriously.

What hardware and software do I need?
Open Leads is a web-based application which runs in your browser. That means that you can use it on any computer (or other device, such as an iPhone) which has a modern browser (Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer 6+).
